The grounds are extensive and beautiful, a largely level area of about 4 hectares lays in front of the house, this is post and rail fenced, ideal for strip grazing by horses or other animals.
It is also the area we use for our Target Golf Range, a Tee Area and three target greens, 140m, 175m and 220m from the tee!

With the few (3) neighbours screened from view the site is private, quiet and peaceful, only the birdsong and the breeze in the trees can be heard!

The house has extensive old orchard windbreaks giving incredibly effective shelter, in effect we have our own microclimate, often 5C warmer than in Kerikeri.

Beyond the windbreaks the agricultural land slopes down to the river which meanders and forms long boundaries on the Southern and Western aspects of the property. The river boundary is approx 1200m long and 15m below the level of the house. Due to the terrain, even the paddock edges next to the river never flood.
